Primary Responsibilities: The Geospatial Analyst is responsible for performing geospatial data creation, analysis and processing tasks relating to the development of GIS databases, the compilation of geospatial data required for multiple-scale map, and database production. Candidate must be a U.S. Citizen.

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Ensure geospatial products are in compliance with applicable specification.
  • Construct spatial databases and apply attribution as needed.
  • Edit spatial and tabular data.
  • Create functional GIS models using both raster and vector data.
  • Establish complex relational database joins and queries using ArcGIS and other commercially available software.
  • Identify new processes and procedures within a project
  • Work with Technical Lead on developing new or updated SOPs.
  • Produce professional quality maps and tabular outputs for presentations.
  • Responsible for creating orthophotos and image processing to meet customer specifications and deadlines.
  • May require GPS field work to develop ground control in support of aerial imagery or LiDAR projects.
  • Adhere to quality control procedures.

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

  • Technical expertise in the areas of Geography, Photogrammetry, Cartography, Imagery Analysis, GIS, Surveying and Civil Engineering.
  • Knowledge of federal government (NGA, AGC, NAVFAC, USACE, etc.) spatial data products and services.
  • Knowledge of GEOINT data products and standards for U.S. Federal Agencies
  • Knowledge of commonly applied standards including but not limited to ASPRS and FGDC.
  • Good written and oral communication, and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to perform assigned responsibilities with minimal supervision.
  • Ability to meet project deadlines.
  • Ability to compile, review, and reconcile data for accuracy, completeness, and compliance.

Resolution is currently seeking Geospatial Technicians to work based at Government facilities in the Jacksonville, FL area.

Primary Responsibilities: The Geospatial Technician is responsible for performing data creation, analysis and processing tasks relating to the development of databases. This position will be onsite at government facilities and will consist of scanning maps and drawings for inclusion in a comprehensive database.

 

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Candidate must be eligible to obtain a Common Access Card (CAC) for access to the facility and
    database.
  • Research of existing documents and sorting based on facility and version is required, this requires
    attention to detail.
  • Existing facility documents will be reviewed on the following formats: hard copy drawings and digital
    files in PDF or CAD formats on CD/DVD or the PWD share drive.
  • Prepare facility documents for scanning to include, but not limited to, removal of staples, paper clips,
    and miscellaneous types of fasteners and bindings.
  • Scan facility documents to match the hard copy page size at a resolution of 300 Dots per Inch (DPI).
  • Perform indexing of electronic documents to include all required metadata using the standard file
    naming convention. Metadata shall be included at the facility document package level, not for each
    individual facility document page or sheet.
  • Perform Quality Assurance (QA) that all hard copy facility documents are electronically scanned, and
    that the scanned images are equal to or exceed the quality of the hard copy documents.
  • Facility documents shall be sorted into folders based on facility numbers.
  • All hard copy facility documents shall be returned after the scanning is complete.
  • Hard copy facility documents shall be inventoried by facility number following work instructions.
  • Reports will be required; daily email communication to PM and supervisor, weekly progress report to
    PM and supervisor, and monthly status reports to PM and supervisor.

Job Description

Resolution is seeking a talented Mechanical or Aerospace Systems Engineer to join a fast-paced team delivering design results daily. The ideal candidate will provide CAD expertise and an affinity for problem solving to support an active hardware development program supporting the Missile Defense Agency in Huntsville, AL.

 

Primary Responsibilities:  The Mechanical/Aerospace Engineer is responsible for providing technical expertise surrounding all phases of design, manufacture, and test for the program hardware. Candidate must be a U.S. Citizen and have an active Secret personal clearance.

Duties and Responsibilities: 

Supports engineering team in various roles throughout the life cycle of a program. Helps define program requirements, develop concept/detailed designs, prototype hardware, technical data packages, and integrate mechanical and electromechanical components onto military systems. 

Coordinates and communicates with other members of the design team and government customers to ensure program success.  Works independently to accomplish tasks. 

Requirements: 

  • ABET accredited BS in Mechanical Engineering or Aerospace Engineering 
  • Minimum 3 years of experience performing engineering-related duties 
  • Exercises knowledge and experience with CAD (Computer-Aided Design) programs such as SolidWorks, CATIA, or Pro-E. 
  • SolidWorks modeling and drawing development experience 
  • Familiar with MIL-STD-31000 requirement for Technical Data Packages 
  • Understanding and knowledge of the ASME Y14 Series of standards governing Technical Data Packages 
  • Experience with usage of MIL and industry (AMSE, AWS, IPC, SAE, AS, etc.) standards 

Desired Qualifications: 

  • Preferable experience in a manufacturing environment or exp dealing with manufacturing environment 
  • Preferable to have experience with electrical drawings (main concern cables) in addition to pure mechanical systems
